Karl Schlögel in Eggisried

An event marking the opening of the Eggisried season was the talk by Prof. Dr. Karl Schlögel “Reisen nach Prag und anderswohin” as part of the Literaturfestival Allgäu-Schwaben.

Close to his birthplace Hawangen, the full auditorium in the exhibition and events hall of the Erich-Schickling-Stiftung was able to share in the life story of the 2025 Peace Prize laureate, historian and writer, who, recounting his personal experience, offered deep insights into the cultural and contemporary history of Eastern Europe up to the present day.
