Christian Ostertag, first concertmaster of the SWR

Symphony Orchestra, was awarded the European Soloist Prize of the cultural foundation "Pro Europa" in 2001. At the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe he teaches the next generation of international violinists.

His fellow professor and long-standing chamber music partner Maria Stange appears as a solo harpist with symphony orchestras including the SWR and the Munich, Bamberg and Stuttgart Philharmonic, and performs new compositions for her instrument at radio stations and festivals.

The funding project „Auch der Gesang kaum darf es enthüllen“ makes possible the appearance of this exclusive duo, which, in connection with the special exhibition, once again places the Davidic instrument of the harp at the centre.
