Erich Schickling Stiftung

"Since we are a conversation…" (Hölderlin)
Music and poetry from the tradition of the Schickling household.
With the author and poet Antonie Schneider/ Weiler im Allgäu.
At the piano: Ulrike Meyer
As part of the support project and the special exhibition of the Erich-Schickling-Stiftung, the spiritual roots of this place are to be remembered. From early on, the house of Erich and Inge Schickling was a point of attraction not only for artists, but also for musicians, poets, theologians and philosophers. The Schicklings' living room and the house chapel were places of conversation and encounter, in the artistic as well as the religious sense. With her poetic reflections, Antonie Schneider touches the "humus" on which the Erich-Schickling-Stiftung may grow and continue to work to this day.
Music begins where words end.
